Inspired by Eelco Siebring’s art for Undone Season 2, I recreated the environment in 3D. I followed his layout and color choices to keep the same mood.
All the models and props were built in Maya, then I painted on details in Substance Painter. For the plants and foliage, I shot real leaves and bark, made texture maps, and used SpeedTree to grow natural-looking trees and bushes.
In Unreal Engine 5, I set up path‑traced lighting for realistic shadows and highlights, and used Nanite so the high‑res meshes stayed sharp. The final scene feels both true to the concept and grounded in reality.
